Yes. Most architectural projects benefit from a considered mix of exterior views, interior spaces, details and contextual images. The balance depends on the project, brief and intended use.

I am based in West Sussex and work with architects across Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, London and the wider South East.

How do you prepare for a shoot?

Preparation begins with a discussion of the project, intended image use, key views and practical requirements. I review drawings, project information, orientation, daylight, access and shot priorities.

How should I prepare for an architectural photoshoot?

Spaces should be clean, tidy and free from temporary clutter. Key areas, views, details, access, parking, permissions and site contacts should be confirmed before the shoot.

How long does an architectural photography shoot take?

Accepted Answer

Shoot duration depends on project size, complexity, access, daylight and the required image set. Smaller projects may take a few hours, while larger projects may need a half day, full day or more than one visit.

What kind of post-production do you do?

Final images include colour correction, exposure balancing, contrast refinement, perspective control, lens correction and selective retouching where required.

How many images will I receive from a shoot?

The number of final images depends on the project scope. I usually provide a curated set of fully edited photographs, with the expected number agreed before the shoot.

Can I request additional retouching or edits?

Yes. Additional retouching or edits can be requested where they go beyond the agreed scope. More detailed work may be quoted separately.

When will I receive my final images?

Final images are usually delivered within 2 to 4 weeks of the shoot. Specific deadlines, such as awards submissions, press requirements or launch dates, should be discussed in advance.

What are your prices for architectural photography?

Pricing depends on scope, time on site, number of final images, post-production and intended use. Most commissions are quoted as a defined project fee before work begins.

Are there any travel or expense charges?

Accepted Answer

Travel within Sussex and much of the South East can often be included in the estimate. Significant travel, parking, permits, accommodation or site-specific expenses are agreed in advance.

Question 13

Who owns the photographs and how are they licensed?

Accepted Answer

Copyright remains with the photographer. The commissioning client receives a licence to use the final images for agreed purposes. Third-party use is not automatically included.

Question 14

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

Please give as much notice as possible. With more than 7 days notice, shoots can usually be rescheduled and any deposit transferred. With less notice, cancellation fees may apply.
