What happens if it is raining or bad weather on the shoot day?If it is raining or the weather is really bad on the shoot day, it is up to the client to decide whether to proceed with the shoot or reschedule. If you choose to go ahead, I will make the best of the conditions. If you prefer to reschedule, please note that this will incur additional costs. However, if the conditions (in rare occasions such as hurricanes, thunderstorms, etc.) are deemed unsafe by local authorities or by James Morris Photography, there will be no additional costs to rearrange a more suitable date.

Do you edit the photographs?Yes, I edit the photographs to an advanced professional standard using industry-leading software such as Capture One and Adobe Photoshop.

Do your prices include editing?I believe in being transparent in pricing and fair, all my quotes will be inclusive of editing of the final photographs and will usually state the number photographs to be delivered. For smaller projects it might be shown as a single item that is fully inclusive. However for most quotes it will be itemised and have separate lines for the various aspects of an architectural or interior photography project. What are your payment terms?Payment terms are typically 50% upfront and the remaining 50% upon delivery of the final images. However, this can be discussed and adjusted based on the project requirements.

What are your credit terms?Pre-shoot deposit is required before commencing any work and to complete a booking, once a shoot has been completed and all images have been delivered an invoice will be generate with the remaining balance, the credit terms for the remaining balance are 30 days from the date of the invoice.

What is the usage licence granted for the photographs?The usage licence terms for the photographs generally include a non-exclusive license for an agreed duration (usually 2 years), in a specific geographical location that allows you to use the images for your specified purposes. All terms will be agreed upon prior to the shoot to ensure you can use the photographs as intended. The usage licence will give you the right to use the photographs as needed, however, it is important to note that the copyright remains with James Morris Photography.

How are the photographs delivered after an architectural photography shoot?Upon completion of an architectural photography shoot, I ensure that all photographs are meticulously edited and refined to meet high professional standards. The final images are securely delivered through a private, password-protected online gallery. Clients receive a unique link to this gallery, from which they can view, download, and share the high-resolution images in various formats suitable for both print and digital use. Additionally, for larger projects or upon special request, images can be delivered on a physical USB drive. This process ensures that clients have convenient and flexible access to their images while maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality.

Can I request a different method of delivery for the photographs?Yes, if you prefer a different method of delivery, please let me know, and we can discuss alternative options such as cloud storage or physical media.
