Website Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 October 2026
1. About these terms
This website is operated by James Morris, trading as James Morris Photography, an independent architectural photography practice based in West Sussex, England. These terms apply to your use of jamesmorris.uk. For website enquiries, contact hello@jamesmorris.uk.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Website content
The text, photographs, graphics and design on this website are owned by James Morris or used with permission. All rights are reserved. You may view the site for personal reference, but you must not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, adapt or use its content commercially without prior written permission.
You must not use automated systems to copy or collect website material in bulk, or to scrape or extract photographs, without written permission. This does not restrict routine search-engine indexing or any use permitted by law.
3. Commissions and image licences
Website content is for general information and does not form an offer, quotation or contract for photography services. Each commission is agreed separately in writing.
These website terms do not grant permission to use any photograph. For a commission, the agreed Estimate and Photographer’s Terms and Conditions govern the assignment. A separate Usage Licence and the Image Usage Terms and Conditions govern permitted use of licensed images. Any specific written agreement for a commission or image licence applies to that work and takes precedence over these website terms on those matters.
4. Accuracy and availability
We aim to keep the website information accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information and may change without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from errors or interruptions.
5. External links
This website may link to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms and privacy information apply when you visit them.
6. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled for the photography business. Our Privacy & cookies information explains website analytics cookies and how to change your cookie choice.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or reliance on its general information. This does not change any rights or responsibilities set out in a separate commission agreement or image licence.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
